The report writer for home inspectors

Rafter is built for one job, done exceptionally well: writing home-inspection reports in the field. Walk the property with your phone, rate each item as you go, drop photos straight into the right finding, and dictate what you see. When the walk is done, one tap builds a clean, branded HTML report and a paginated PDF — severity-sorted summary, per-section checklists, and embedded photos — ready to hand over before you leave the driveway.

No scheduling, no CRM, no payments to chase — Rafter is a focused report writer, not another all-in-one platform.

What it does

You're in control — Rafter never writes reports on its own. On-device AI only drafts; you review and approve every line. Your reports and templates are yours — never locked, even without a purchase.

Private by design

There are no servers and no accounts. Everything — inspections, photos, narratives, templates, and the client names and addresses you type — stays on your iPhone and, when iCloud sync ships, in your own private iCloud. Client data never touches our servers, because we don't have any. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

Honest pricing

Your first inspection is free and full-featured — no credit card required. After that, there are exactly two ways to buy Rafter:

The $399.99 lifetime won't last: first 100 inspectors only. When they're gone, the lifetime option is gone for good, and Rafter is $249.99/yr. Either way, unlimited on-device AI is included — no per-report fees and no metering.

Requirements

Rafter runs on iPhone with iOS 26. Dictation and the full report workflow work on any supported iPhone; AI narrative drafting requires iPhone 15 Pro or newer (Apple Intelligence) and gracefully falls back to dictation-only on other models.
